So many demands on the leader…
Everyone wants a piece of you…
It is tough to say ‘no’ and yet, sometimes you must!
If it means you give up your great purpose to fulfil a lesser one then absolutely NO!
If it means you have to apologise for who you are then ABSOLUTELY NO!
If it means you keep fulfilling everyone else’s agenda and never ever yours then absolutely NO!
In the beginning, it will make you feel selfish…
THEY will make you feel selfish…
But really you are not!
It would be selfish to not do the work you are here to do because you were running around being les and trying to please everyone!
You have been
trained to be nice, to be tame, to be less than and you even tried to be happy with that!
But finally FINALLY you chose to resurface and some did not like it…
They tried to shove you back in the box…
And yeah, you were tempted to go back to playing small, being small…
But no you can’t!
You just can’t!
And leader, you don’t have to.
You just need to get on your narrow path and stay on it until you fulfil the call on your life.
The thing I find with these peeps who want you to stay the same is that when you win, they admire you, they want to know what you did, they want to emulate you…
Though at the start, they did not get you.
They forget all that negativity they threw at you, when you win!
SO, WHY THE HECK GIVE INTO THEM?
Oh I know why!
You are scared you won’t make it and then you will have to return to them with tail between legs…
Or maybe you are worried about being alone, even when you hit your GREAT success…
Well, one way to KNOW that neither of those options will ever happen, is to just refuse to quit!
Just don’t!
And you will be tempted, oh so tempted!
But simply don’t and also REFUSE to be less than who you are…
FOR ANYBODY!
It is only as you are you, that you win…
That you become the leader you see in your mind’s eye…
That you attract the right clients for your business.
That you make the money you dream of making.
So, leader, step up, own your greatness, be your best self courageously, bravely…
DO IT!
Fight for, deliberately design the life you are born to live…
