Can I lose weight without dieting and exercising?
In my last post I promised I would respond to a big question from a young woman called Sam. Sam asked:
“Can I lose weight without dieting and exercising? Can I use the principles of the Law of Attraction only?”
Yep, that’s a big question! Here’s my response in an 8:25 minute audio post plus some additional notes below.
Make sure you don’t confuse the Law of Attraction with wishful thinking. That’s not realistic. The Law of Attraction requires you to:
- Work out what you want
- Know how to focus on it; and
- Take action.
If you fail to execute any of these steps you won’t get the desired results.
The good news is, steps 1 & 2 make step 3 – Take action – easier in nearly all cases. Even if you did feel some trepidation initially, take action anyway. It is the only way to move towards your goal and moving forward feels better than staying stuck any day!
Now I know I’m repetitious with this stuff. That’s because every day you get to choose what you will focus on and every day you will take action relating to what you eat and how active you are.
Some days it’s easier to stay focused on your goal and thus take appropriate action towards it – and some days it seems easier to worry or focus on the effort! I wrestle with this at times too. I need and appreciate consistent positive reminders. My clients respond well to this too and, just maybe, positive reminders are of benefit to you too. This is my hope!
