Anita Hunt

I am so pleased to be a part of the Birds On The Blog family.

I love nature, photography, crafts, writing, watching movies, and visiting teashops.

I have a degree in Applied Theology and Pastoral care, and a certificate in Community Work and Social Policy.

I began my business Nita Joy Craft Design in 2007, specialising in Botanical photographic greeting cards and floral gifts.

I also run an anti-bullying campaign, raising funds for the charity Bullying UK.

I have written a children’s novel Matty-boy & The Secret Pigeon Racket published in 2009. On my website we have information on where to go for help, for those affected by bullying. My aim is to continue to raise awareness about the effects of bullying.

My past jobs have included being a Librarian, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Youth Worker.

I like to blog about gardens, nature, crafts and look at issues about how we can be there for one another and encourage others, who are going through a difficult time, long or short term.

I am married to Matt who I met at University, who works as a family support worker.

Recently we added to our family a little rescue Havanese dog called Brinkley, who we adore, and you may notice him mentioned in some of my blog posts.
