It’s Not What You Think

That is no way to run a workshop.  Events should be full so they can be profitable and better yet, lucrative.  Workshops are supposed to grow your business, not impede it.

It’s so frustrating when you promote your heart out and still have an empty or near empty workshop room. It’s also completely unnecessary.  Contrary to what you think, lack of promotion is usually not the cause of poor attendance.  Most likely you are missing one of the 5 essential keys to filling your workshops and seminars.

Visibility is one of the keys and that is achieved through promotion. You can promote through emails to your list, social media, advertising, press releases and media coverage.  They list is endless.  However, if you are promoting it to the wrong audience, are not using the right message, have an ineffective registration page or haven’t reached the know, like and trust stage with your audience, guess what?

Your results will be average at best, and worst case scenario, you will be awfully lonely at your event.
